Children use a parent's account and never sign in themselves. Teachers who check marking see an anonymous id, never a child's name. Photos of working are stored only to mark them.

Chats with Knowbot, the maths buddy, are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Your child can carry on a chat about the same question, you can read them in the parent view, and our team looks only at chats where Knowbot turned a message down. Knowbot only talks about maths and never asks for personal details.
